In (the) Studio
Favourite project
With so many fabulous projects to choose from it’s difficult to pick out a favourite. One of the recent stand outs has been the hybrid event for Embraer. This was a live launch event delivered from a green screen studio to a global audience. Johanna Botta was delighted to be chosen to co-host the event and even more so as it not only proved to be an incredible success but looked amazing too! This is definitely a fantastic way of delivering live events that will continue to enable companies to reach large internal and external audiences worldwide. With thanks to the teams at Gravity and Tree Top for bringing the whole event together. Here at the agency, we were delighted to be part of such an amazing and successful project.

Other Projects
Other projects our presenters have worked on include – Michelle Livings hosting and anchoring a virtual event for Finning Cat – called FINROCK TV LIVE! This was broadcast live from a green screen studio in Essex. Michelle introed speakers, linked between pre-recorded VT packages and hosted Q&A sessions. These shows were in 15-minute segments throughout the day, with ad breaks, presenter talk-ups between each segment, directing the audience to other areas of the event, promoting competition entries, encouraging questions to be submitted, and generally engaging the online audience. A major project which was another an amazing success and we’re thrilled to announce that Michelle has become the face of Finning Cat for the forceable future!

In addition, we are delighted that our presenters continue to be selected for numerous prestigious studio-based projects including for DHL, EY, and Maersk to name but a few.

Training & Educational Projects
Favourite Project
Emma-Louise Amanshia hosted a series of quiz webinars for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) – a wonderful Children’s educational initiative. This year was the first-ever year that the quiz has gone online, how exciting! Among the countries taking part in the Wild Wisdom Quiz was India! The quiz has been running in India for 13 years now. Starting out in just a single city, they’ve been growing in leaps and bounds to share an appreciation and the joys of nature ever since! Emma-Louise was delighted to be the first ever online host and enjoyed working from a studio in London, while engaging, teaching and having fun with the children overseas. The next Wild Wisdom Global Challenge is in November and we hope that Emma-Louise is invited back to once again host the webinars!

Other Projects
With many other training and education projects over the years, one that’s been a standout is the videos for Pearson Education. Working with the fabulous team at Boojum Media our presenters Esme Todd and Hannah Jackson were both delighted to be chosen to present these. All shot on location and covering a whole variety of topics that would help students learn English as a second language. From belly dancing to historical sites to job skills – you name it, the presenters covered it as the series ‘Road Map reporters”!

Events Presenters
Favourite Project
With live events firmly back on the calendar we were delighted to be approached for a presenter to host the stage at Crufts for YuMove in 2022. The brief was for a warm, friendly and approachable presenter who could hold an audience and interview a variety of guests, including celebrities, over the 4 days of the event. Oh – and as a bonus – be a dog lover?! What a thrill it was for us when we heard that the delightful Amy Burrows was chosen as their host! The team at YuMove were a dream to work together with and happy to take guidance especially as they hadn’t used a presenter for such a prestigious event before. From all sides it was a great success and most importantly they were delighted with Amy! We do hope to work together with the team at YuMove in the near future.

Other projects
Live webinar and virtual events have definitely grown over the past two years. A real benefit for clients to be able to stay in touch and connect with their teams and clients. A fun project that Hannah Jackson co-hosted was for Ferrero Rocher. This was a live studio launch of four new Ferrero products which was broadcast to a global audience. A lively show with quizzes, competitions and audience interaction. By all accounts a lot of fun and with plenty delicious chocolate to eat too!

With thanks to the great team Fresh who continue to request our talent for a whole variety of projects: including live events conferences, red carpets, awards ceremonies, sporting events and many more.

Home Studio Presenters
Favourite Project
With most of our presenters having superb home studio set ups, this gives companies another option for having projects delivered. A recent shoot recorded in this way was for National Geographic commissioned by ITN Productions. James Sherwood was chosen to deliver four educational videos which he filmed at his home studio. The results were superb and very well received with lovely feedback from the producer, Sheena:
‘Thank you so much for a wonderful performance! James did an excellent job!’ Congratulations from us to James on doing such a great job’.
Sheena
This option works both ways meaning James could fit it in around his hectic schedule.

Other Projects
With home recordings becoming more common, especially during the pandemic, we can report that to date we’ve worked on a fantastic number of interesting and diverse projects. One such shoot, completed and delivered in the summer of 2021, involved an enormous amount of organisation and preparation on all sides. Commissioned to work on an educational training project for teachers, seven of our presenters recorded scripts from their home studios over two days with clips being sent for checking and approval as they were completed! It was certainly a hectic few of days of filming and making sure all ran smoothly, but with end result being so well received that it was certainly worth all the hard work.

Presenters On location
Favourite Project
Kato Wong has been on-location in London filming with The Edge Picture Company for a global company. He absolutely loved the shoot and working with the extended team.

Exciting Project
What a joy it is to have our presenter Craig Stevens cast in a movie! All we can say for now is that he plays the reporter in the film and is part of the opening scenes! These were shot on location in London and with the movie due for release in the autumn we can’t wait to see him on the big screen!

Other Projects
A favourite client we love working with is the team at Fresh. As well as presenting live virtual launch events, our presenters – Hannah Jackson, Craig Stevens, Joe Forrester, Frankie Vu and Emma-Louise Amanshia have all been on location. Filming at both a fabulous high-end apartment and a very trendy warehouse office, all super projects to work on. As ever looking forward to hearing about the next project brief and where that will be shot!

Children’s TV Presenters
Favourite Project
One of our standout projects this year has been HOW 2 which aired on CITV. Frankie Vu was delighted to be asked back as part of the line-up of presenters with Vick Hope and Sam Homewood for the second series of this iconic show. Among the helpful life hacks, surprising science and fascinating facts – Frankie answers HOW colourful is a dump? HOW can you get a drink from an umbrella? and HOW long is an egg?
Frankie said – ‘It was great to have the presenters back together again and we all had a lot of fun working with the brilliant team @terrifictv.co.uk.’

Other Projects

Selected hosts to date include Frankie Vu, Emma-Louise Amanshia, Niamh Conway, Esme Todd and Simon Harkness with the most recent being James Tzanoudakis. Corporate Presenters
Favourite Project
Hannah Jackson has been working on a series of videos for SAP. What we all love about this project is working together with the brilliant team at Clockhouse. Having been asked to provide presenters for numerous shoots for them over the years makes working together a breeze and always a real pleasure. Hannah is loving recording this current series of films and is looking forward to the next shoot that’s coming up over the next few weeks!

Other projects
With many other projects that our presenters have had the pleasure of working on, it’s hard to select just a few to highlight. What I’d like to do is say a huge ‘thank you’ to them all for working so hard to deliver for all these major clients over the years. Voice Over Artists
Favourite Project
One of our favourite projects we’ve had the pleasure of working on has been with Games Workshop. Our brilliant voice over artist Helen McAlpine enjoyed recording a series of three short stories from the Warhammer Age of Sigmar game – Thunderstrike. Helen said, ‘it was a super job to work on and that she loved the variety of the characters she was asked to voice’!
Interesting Projects
Helen McAlpine also created a variety of other characters which she had great fun voicing over recent months. Another exciting project was voiced by Ian Swann. He was cast as one of the lead characters in ‘Interrogator’. An animated Games Workshop Warhammer 40k feature in which Ian was thrilled to voice the character of ‘Malen’. We hope to announce its’ launch date soon! We’d also like to mention that Emma-Louise Amanshia was chosen to work on the Digital version of Our Green Planet for the BBC as well a shooting for Radio 1!

Variety of Artists
Along with Helen McAlpine, Ian Swann and Emma-Louise Amanshia, we represent a whole host of talented voice over artists. The variety is endless from corporate to commercial, to those with amazing accents. All with fantastic home studio’s if required.
