Even though the autumn leaves are starting to fall it’s still full steam ahead at the agency. This month we’re delighted to feature Sharon Thomas’s meeting with an absolute icon of the fashion world, plus showcasing and an insight into the world of football commentating!
Interviewing Twiggy
Congratulations Sharon and what a delight to meet no other than Twiggy on the red carpet at London Film Festival 2024. Sharon had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Twiggy for ITV London for her new documentary about her life. Directed by Sadie Frost, it focuses on the life of the greatest “IT” girl of all time, Dame Twiggy Lawson. At 75 she is still looking amazing. Along with her hugely successful modelling career she’s been a singer, actress, cultural icon and saviour of M&S (Marks & Spencer).

Sports Commentators
Simon Watts works on the EFL and is busier than ever before.
CBS and Paramount+ in the USA, beIN Sports in Australia and New Zealand and Setanta Sports in a number of European countries among others. In addition, he made his Sky Sports+ commentary debut live from Northampton v Wycombe.
The pictures show the amount of work that goes into the prep – in this case over 8000 words for each match, although just like an exam you come out of it having only used maybe 50% of those notes!
His motto “I may never be the best commentator out there, but I’ll always make sure I am one of the most researched, whether that’s reading local newspaper articles, listening to podcasts for each team, chatting with fans from the clubs involved and trying to get some behind the scenes information from my contacts in the game”.
That’s a lot of preparation before each game! It’s certainly paying off Simon!

Voicemail Over success
Mike Bodie has once again been working together with the great team at Games Workshop. Such a smooth operation with dial in and recording from Mike’s studio. Project no 15 to date is now in the can!

More exciting project updates coming next month. until then,
Karen xx
