Laura Barraclough has quickly made her mark in the presenting world. In her debut year alone, she hosted at iconic venues such as Lord’s, The Oval, and The Allianz (historically Twickenham), and was named runner-up for MCC Young Female Broadcaster of the Year 2024. She currently works across Premiership Rugby and the PWR and was host for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, having interviewed BBC Sport pundits ahead of the tournament. A passionate advocate for women in sport, Laura has fronted numerous Nike events, including interviews with legends like Paula Radcliffe and former Lioness Steph Houghton MBE.
“Laura Barraclough has quickly made her mark in the presenting world, breaking into broadcast with her work on ITV’s Gallagher Prem Unleashed”.
In addition to rugby and athletics, Laura was the stadium announcer for Birmingham City FC for a season and hosted the Crystal Palace Fanzone at Wembley for the FA Cup Final 2025. Her broadcast experience includes voiceover work for BBC One’s coverage of the 2024 Women’s FA Cup Final.
Outside the world of sport, Laura’s versatility shines. She hosted the European Film Union Gala 2024 in Glasgow, that passion for film and TV sparked by her time as a lead actor in Nickelodeon TV series ‘Goldies Oldies’. Laura is also passionate about social impact, having fronted a campaign for Amnesty highlighting the dangers of facial recognition technology, as well as hosting Centre Point’s homelessness awareness initiative. She also co-hosts an upcoming LEGO online series, set to be released later this year.
When she’s not presenting, Laura is likely playing sport herself – a tenacious right-back on a social football team and an avid runner. And after all that movement, she’s refuelling with her favourite: a slightly burnt lasagne.
